Evelyn Barlar Chapman of Pulaski passed away January 2, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski.
She was born on August 9, 1923 in Pulaski, Tennessee and was 89 years old.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and a homemaker.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 3rd from 10:00 until 2:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be on Thursday following visitation at 2:00pm in the
chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Brandon Bass officiating.

Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her,
husband Loyd B. Chapman
parents, John C. and Verna Eloise Williams Barlar
daughter, Janice Chapman
brothers, Hillyard and Jerome Barlar

She is survived by her,
daughter, Norma Jean (Donnie)Thompson of Pulaski
granddaughter, Carolyn Yvonne (Mike) Nix
great-grandchildren, Brett Wade Helton, Blake Aaron Bryant, Brent Errin Nix, Bridgette Carlena Nix
sister, Luree Maxwell
several nieces and nephews also survive

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Evelyn Barlar Chapman.
