Mr. Herbert E. Williams

Mr. Herbert E. Williams passed away Saturday evening, December 10, 2011, at NHC of Pulaski.

He was a member of the Second Street Church of Christ, a Navy Veteran of WWII, a retired lineman of 34 years for Bell South, retired school bus driver for Giles County School System, and 87 years old.

Visitation will be 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 11 o'clock Monday, December 12, 2011, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jenkins and Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Fitzgerald Williams. His parents Kirby Smith and Virginia Keltner Williams. Sisters Anna Lou Williams Moore, Mary Lizzie Williams Wilson, Martha Williams Harwell, Flora Williams Sanders, Olivene Williams Brown, Jane Williams Dunavant, Rachel Williams Ingram, and Evelyn "Dood" Williams Harwell. Brothers Graham and Bunyan Williams.

He is survived by his brother-in-law Morris Ed Harwell of Pulaski. Sister-in-law Dell White Williams of Pulaski.
Numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews also survive.
